The rules are that a bit package can contain only bit components but a bit package can contain both bit and bit components. The otherway around though - you can install a bit package on a bit operating system, so it's quite reasonable to want to include bit merge modules to execute your own functions and bit merge modules in order to hook into those of the operating system. Can you share that? Merbe I guess this is not an issue anyone's interested in anymore, except that I still can't merge dependencies how I used to.
